In a pre-dominantly English speaking
environment in Singapore, it can be challenging for kids to master the
Chinese language. The fact is, immersion is the key to fluency in any
language. If your child has little interest in the Chinese language,
getting him or her to study it will be an uphill task.
In our centre, we understand that every
child is different and hence we conduct the course in small group (not
more than 6, even 1 to 1) so the teacher can pay attention to each
student's weakness and improve upon it.
Besides adhering closely to the school
syllabus, not like traditional Chinese tuition class, we also try to
ignite the child's interest in the language by exposing them to
interesting short stories, Chinese riddles, songs and even current
affairs. By providing opportunities for conversations that entail rich
language use in the mother tongue, we seek to build confidence and
nurture a love for Mandarin.
